My beading friend
My friend now in her late 80’s is a beading enthusiast. I introduced her to beads a few years ago and now she can’t put them down. When she is asked by young people at how energetic and patient she is at beading. She replies, “I love and enjoy what I do”, that is why she continues to create many beautiful necklaces. She is inspired to create-actually she inspires me to create.
Every beader has a specialty, her specialty is creating funky necklaces for her grandchildren-they truly love them. In fact, her grand child Alice is her best customer.
Lately, Alice and her “cool” friends have asked her to teach them how to make those funky beaded creations. Needless to say, my friend was thrilled when her grand children thought she had the cool factor. I think beading is something that young or old can enjoy.
